UNFCCC COP28 Side Event: Accelerating Nature-based Solutions for Coastal Resilience: Financing and Policy Tools

This panel will discuss how to accelerate the implementation of nature-based solutions for coastal resilience at scale, including pathways for financing and increasing investment into these solutions. The discussion will highlight pathways and policy guidance for designing and building the next generation of resilient infrastructure to reduce flood risk for up to 680 million people in the coastal zone providing biodiversity and adaptation benefits.
