UNFCCC COP28 Side Event: Blue Carbon Foundations Training under the Australia-Indonesia Partnership

This event will launch a new international online blue carbon foundations e-learning course, which will be available via the IPBC website. The aim is to provide policymakers and practitioners with core interdisciplinary background knowledge and skills to implement blue carbon policies programs and projects. The course consists of 8 modules covering key blue carbon principles of science, international policy and national policy integration, climate and market finance, adaptation, project design, communication and implementation. The training material was developed by Blue Praxis through Australia’s Blue Carbon partnerships with both the Pacific and Indonesia.
